CVMA statement on B.C. ports strike
Statement by Brian Kingston, President & CEO of the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers’ Association:
“A work stoppage at B.C. ports will disrupt trade and hurt workers in the automotive industry on both sides of the border. The auto industry depends on the efficient delivery of parts and components with delays threatening the recovery of North American auto sector. It is time for the federal government to strongly encourage the parties to reach a rapid resolution.”
