Canadian Automotive Service Information Standards (CASIS)
CASIS is a voluntary agreement between the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers’ Association (CVMA), the Global Automakers of Canada, the National Automotive Trades Association and the Automotive Industries Association of Canada. Signed in September 2009, the agreement ensures that manufacturers share service and repair information with the automotive aftermarket industry on a level equivalent to that of authorized dealers. CASIS highlights the industry’s commitment to maintain an open, fair and competitive Canadian automotive manufacturing, import, distribution, service and repair industry for the benefits of all stakeholders and consumers.
